hey, I'm CHARLOTTE
This was teamed with the expectation that I should have everything figured out by now, the crippling self-doubt and belief that I didn’t have what it takes to be ‘successful’ and the lack of trust in myself that I had the power to change.
Personal growth and wellbeing has always been an important part of my life but some years ago I realised the difference between knowing the theory and actually doing the work.
Although I had experienced bouts of anxiety in my 20s, in early motherhood I found myself in an almost permanent state of anxiety and overwhelm and have experienced episodes of burnout since. This has stemmed from the struggle to balance motherhood with also wanting to have a career, the transition of house and country moves, the pressures of setting up and running my own businesses and the general overwhelm with always feeling the need to be ‘on’ and making sure everyone else is happy whilst neglecting my own needs.
Even though I knew in theory what nourishing my body should look like, I decided to actually start putting it into practice. When I quickly saw the direct impact it had on how I felt, it became addictive. I started to take seriously what I was putting in my body and made movement a regular part of my routine. Being able to maintain such a good level of fitness has been an absolute game changer for me.
But when I became pregnant with my second child something did change and I decided to take control.
I also invested in a life and business coach to help tackle the challenges I was facing around my career, mindset and confidence.
Having experienced a great lack of purpose up until then, I allowed myself to reflect and discover what was truly going to light me up. When I allowed this intuition to kick in it led me straight to coaching and I feel privileged to be in such a rewarding profession, being able to guide and support people to harness their internal resources and power, just as I have learnt to.
The pieces of my puzzle are coming together, but the journey continues. Life will undoubtedly throw more spanners in the works and I’ll continue to grow and discover more about myself. For now, I’m here to help you find your mojo and start prioritising your own physical, mental snd emotional health so that you can launch into your next chapter and create a life you truly love.
